Need help?

If you have questions about Ruqya, spiritual affliction, or where to begin, the information below may help. We encourage visitors to start with Self Ruqya where appropriate and to seek qualified medical or professional advice when symptoms may have a physical or psychological cause.

Should I start with Self Ruqya??

Self Ruqya is our preferred approach for those who are able to perform it themselves. We provide guidance based on the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah to help you understand how to perform Ruqya for yourself.

When should I seek further assistance?

If you are unable to perform Self Ruqya, are unsure how to proceed, or require further guidance, you can contact us. We can help you understand the available Ruqya resources and advise you on the appropriate next steps.

Should I see a doctor as well?

Yes. Physical and psychological symptoms can have many different causes. Medical assessment should not be overlooked, particularly where symptoms are persistent, severe, unusual, or require diagnosis or treatment. Ruqya and medical care do not need to be treated as alternatives.

What if I think I am affected by the evil eye, sihr or jinn?

The Qur'an and Sunnah provide guidance concerning matters such as the evil eye, sihr and the jinn. However, symptoms alone do not establish a spiritual cause. It is important to consider medical, psychological and other possible explanations before reaching a conclusion.

Do you recommend Taweez or amulets?

No. We do not recommend Taweez, amulets or charms. Our approach is based on seeking protection and healing through the Qur'an, authentic supplications and the guidance of the Sunnah.
